Behind the scenes : photograph taken in Porquerolles, in September 2023. This is part of an exhibition at Fondation Carmignac, a wonderful and very interesting place dedicated to contemporary art. This work was created by Ed Ruscha, an american artist.
During my stay in Porquerolles, I wrote a short novel inspired by this piece of art. I couldn't stop wondering what's hidden in us, what are our true desires and aspirations, what truly moves us. Our secret needs and desires are so deep and can seem irresistible. We are a never ending sea. We are a Sea of desire.
